It should have started to fall by now but MV is keeping it afloat. I wouldn't be surprised if WD gets couple of dark red updates today. Already it has started to happen in Australia

True. I'm very surprised there is no red so far and there is no way that it can stay at #3 for another day.
All it has is early airplay and the MV. That really shouldn't be enough for a 5th single to stay at #3.

Some of you underestimating Taylor after she's proven us all wrong time after time after time.

The video effect was obviously massive, it should keep the song in the Top 5 until airplay catches up.

Hopefully once airplay is big the streams are equally as big so it will have a chance at #1. Praying for this.

We thought the same about Style and everyone saw what happened. Its a fifth single from 5M selling album. Airplay will help to stay in top 10 of Itunes for considerable amount of time. It would have to overperform to reach anywhere near the top spot.

Did Style ever reach the Top 3 on iTunes, I don't remember.

But as of now, WD IS overperforming. Because, as you said, it's a 5th single from a 5M selling album. That's why I have high hopes for the song. But IMO, it does have a chance at #1. Very slim chances, but it does.

The Top 10 is extremely weak right now, only threats are Bieber and The Weekend. Longevity isn't Bieber's best friend but IDK about The Weekend I guess we'll have to see.

Nope. But Style was #7 before the MV was released and top 10 on Pop and yet stayed between #6 - #8 for ages. Wildest Dreams is my fav song from 1989 but expecting it to go #1 just based on minimal airplay and an MV is expecting too much I guess. I still low key expect it to go #1

I know what you mean, it's gonna be very hard. However, the fact that Style didn't even reach Top 5 on Itunes being already #7 and Top 10 on POP before the MV release gives me high hopes for WD. It's #3 on a Music Video alone, once airplay catches I trust that it will keep climbing. We'll just have to wait and see I guess.

By the way, the video is flawless, best video from 1989 after Blank Space.

WD will probably have peaked by then. I imagine that single #6 will be premiered there.

Wildest Dreams will probably still be really popular in November, so I imagine she would perform that.

I can't imagine single #6 until December - at the earliest. That time of year is terrible for new singles, though, so it could honestly be until early Jan.

My personal opinion is that WD should be the final single if she truly wants to release Q4 2016. We need a good 7-8 month break from her before a new era.
