Does she realise that a lot of the things/people she showed in that video (including her) aren't even from America?
those are the people who give their lives for a chance at the 'american dream' she is just one of thousands who make their way to america some risking their lives in the process at the chance of the american dream...
still undecided about the song.. does anyone else feel like the "Breathe out, breathe in" is timed weird like not on the beat? and that warbling effect is horrible and my brain auto focuses in on that sound even though it's drowned out during the verse
edit: just gave it a couple more spins and I love it. I like the distorted Yeezusy drums in the chorus but just like BBHMM they lack bass ? idk they just don't hit as hard as I need them to
I've been looking at this video on repeat.
It would of been cool if they showed a clip of Rihanna as a child in Barbados.
Also, it helps that Rihanna herself was "Chasin' this American Dream". Does anyone know when this song is going up on Itunes?

Probably when the album comes out.. I guess they are trying to get money out of tidal with this
This is actually very nice but feels a bit forced. It's like Kanye wanted a groundbreaking patriotic timeless anthem but something feels missing. Maybe the song isn't catchy enough or dubstep ruins it. Idk don't get mad Navy.
While you're entitled to your own opinion I gotta ask have you paid attention to recent news, read a history textbook in the last 5 years? Those are all real issues ongoing in America, that shouldn't be brushed under the rug or forgotten.
- This really is a new America & while things have progressed over the years there's still plenty of room for improvement both politically and sociall
I know America Is not perfect as some have already mentioned mentioned, I just don't get the point of focusing on the bad when the song is so uplifting. It killed the vibe of the song to me. This video turned it sad..
What a really strong video, gave me goosebumps. It's not perfectly done but it's powerful and really makes you think. I'm really proud of her for this.
