MTE.
She said even if you're rapping, if you're White, then you should be POP. Bye.
She seems to hate White people because she feels threatened by them.

no.
She has a problem with people using Black Culture for fame and get awarded for it.
And in what way she "hates" white people when her and Lana Del Rey are bffs.

Everything about Iggy is poised for business and success, maximum reach, maximum saturation. She's a great business woman. It's a complete capitalization of black art. It's taking something so precious, removing all meaning and history, and smearing frosting all over it so white teenagers can eat it up. Azealia is passionate not only about music, but about the art, the history of the music her people created, and about the hardships they went through and how rap music and poetry were utilized to help cope. Azealia can feel this in her every bone when she makes music. This is why she acts out of the line others, Iggy especially, do not want her to cross. Iggy would never cry over rap music or hip-hop, or history of the music. She came here to make it big.
Azealia is the real deal. BWET solidly pushes rap and hip-hop forward, while honoring and respecting it's present and past. We have something so good right in front of us, essentially putting her entire existence and history into her music. She is real, and you're not going to see her post some stupid Twitter story about staying positive and doing good deeds when black people are getting killed and humiliated by a society that is horribly unaware of the effects of hundreds of years of racial injustice.

It's like when Madonna did the sex book. Iggy is taking the stones in order to open the doors and make an ACTUAL impact on hip hop. She'll forever be a unique benchmark in the rap genre and in the future, she will be mentioned alongside the greats. I'm thankful all this hate hasn't pushed Iggy to start rapping on some techno beats in order to find easy success. Her artistic integrity + talent +innovation are truly formidable.

I have a new level of respect for her after watching this tbh. I completely understand where she comes from.
She made some valid points, its very rare to see an artist so very passionate about culture and music.
I don't think she's jealous of Iggy at all. As she said she doesn't want to share the genre with white people , because black culture/rap is all she has to hold onto and she feels like white people are trying to take that from her.
Truth is, if she wanted to compete with Iggy Azalea she would have made pop records to. I'm glad that she takes her artistry into such high regard to not sell out and get quick hit singles.

I don't agree with her and I really think her arguments are flawed. ![rip](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/ATRLSmilies/rip_zpsec10ede9.gif) I mean, no one outside this fanbase cares/knows about her so she starts all this drama like seriously. ![rip](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/ATRLSmilies/rip_zpsec10ede9.gif)

I beg to differ. She was headling Glasto even without having an album out. Also the video already has over 125k views so far. For a 50 minute video in less than a day, this is lots.

What an interview where she's just being controversial and not talking about her new music or album? Girl has to start stuff like this to stay minutely relevant.
I despise her generalizations. They make all her arguments invalid in my opinion.

Stop picking and choosing. They did talk about the music and she only discussed things that the interviewers asked her about.

She does not hate white people. If she hated white people, would she make songs like Liquorice, be friends with Rosenberg and Lana and have white boyfriends? No! She hates that white accomplishments easily overshadow and erase black ones. It happened with genres' like Rock and jazz and now she's afraid that it will happen to her genre, hip hop.
