Things might so easily have turned out differently for Lady Gaga. Had she not fallen in with a bunch of Lower East Side performance-art types in the early stages of her career, had she not met pop producers who knew how to turn those avant-garde ideas into mainstream success — she could have been a habitué of Upper Manhattan piano bars and supper clubs, wearing a slinky dress, holding a silver slimline microphone and drawing on her Italian-American roots as Stefani Germanotta, classy singer of standards. http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/arts/m...cle4210520.ece

thats alright, metacritic is just one way to measure critical reception. doesn't make the other two any less legitimate. i DO like how they review the album, not her though
