Okay, I think some people need to get over the whole "the thread was closed with 30.000 views and thousands of posts and videos." I mean, it was closed because PortugueseDude was banned. In order to "moderate" a thread, you need to be the creator of the thread, therefore there had to be a new Nelly Furtado thread for a new moderator. There could only be a new thread if the old one was closed, so no one would try to post in both. When a thread is closed, the posts are just archived, in a sense. So, really, I do not see why this was such a huge deal when everyone wanted a new "moderator" but wanted to keep their posts.
I would recommend everyone from the thread agreeing on someone to "moderate" (maybe someone can set up a poll in Polls?) and then that person making a new thread... but only after there has been an agreement from most posters in that thread. Otherwise, the new thread will be closed.
Edit: Just saw Mannan's thread. I closed it because while no one else posted, I would like to prevent another freak-out where everyone is upset about the new moderator (like when Pinter had made a thread).

That sound like a good idea.I wouldn't mind running a Nelly Furtado thread since Gabor won't be here that much.But lets see who everyone wants to run the Nelly thread.I'll try to start a poll in a little while.So who are all the candidates.

mannan = pinter = me orange, and the freak out was not bcos of i handle it, but the old thread was dissapeared and the post count gone, thats y everybody hate me aftre that " increadible " moment, so since now, i dont care about whos the new moderator, such a big deal

I cannot help but agree, which is why I avoided the thread. Then again, I avoid most "epic" threads since, other than a few posts with actual news, it is just people obsessing over something one person did in their day or making too many pointless posts.

IMO. The Nelly Furtado and Avril Lavigne threads are full of conversations, with SOME news. The Britney one gets updated really nicely, as in organization. IDK about the others

No, I mean all artist threads, lol. For the most part I dislike to visit artist threads, male or female. Since most on ATRL are about female artists, I guess my answer would be a yes.
