I don't know much about medicine but from what I've read here, the procedure isn't that complicated, she will definitely need some time to recover though but I'm pretty sure she will come back stronger than ever just like her favourite mythical bird, the Phoenix
This gives me diamond studded wheelchair and crutches fashion teas. Welp I feel bad for the fans who won't get the chance see the show. Will the show ever continue or does BTW Ball officially end here? Anyway, this could be a blessing since she would have lots of time to fully polish ARTPOP and fast forward its release.
By the way, if any haters are still deluding themselves into thinking that this is all staged to make up for "low ticket sales", MTV has already shut it down by talking to a touring expert.
Quote:
"It's bad news because for any venue, because this was going to be one of their highest-grossing shows at least for the first part of the year, and to lose that, it's going to change the way you do budgeting for the rest of the year," he said. "A lot of venues are still recovering from the NHL lockout, so it doesn't come at a very good time for them. They're going to miss out on a lot of revenue, from tickets and fees, food and beverage, and merchandise sales, which could be anywhere from $10-30 per person."
Brooks couldn't speculate on just what the cancellation meant for the touring members of Gaga's production team — emails to Live Nation and Gaga's reps seeking comment were not responded to by press time — but in the short run, it probably means they won't be getting paid. And the same can be said for the Mother Monster herself ... which is why he's not buying rumors that she scrapped the tour because of soft ticket sales.
"I've heard those rumors, but I wouldn't give that much credence to them," he said. "I would generally think when all is said and done you would lose a lot more money canceling the tour than playing dates that might not sell as well as you'd like. These are major markets she's playing, and the numbers I see are huge.
In total, 22 shows were cancelled, forcing the refund of roughly 200,000 tickets worth approximately $25 million in gross ticket sales, Billboard estimates.

The North American leg, which was to wrap the tour and was almost completely sold out, would have likely put the tour at more than $200 million gross, easily in the top 20 tours of all time and probably in the top 15. As it stands, Gaga finished sixth among all touring artists in 2012, with a gross of $125 million and attendance of more than 1.1 million, according to Boxscore.
I am excited for Artpop but. I hope she takes the rest of the year off. Artpop 2014! Ofc finish off the album this year. But other than that. She needs a break.
Oh my god, I just heard the bad news and I'm devastated. Poor Gaga, I know she's suffering right now . Be stong Queen, the ARTPOP Ball will gross over 400M dolars so, take a rest.
