It can be either in essence, but for me more "dark"
Well, BTW the song wasn't dark imo. TEOG ofc was since it's about death. Y&I was a love song so. The album itself had some dark and light tracks. And there was a lot of bright clothes, but then some dark too.
I'd agree with the other Monsters and say mid. The dark tracks weren't even singles, and many of the performances weren't so dark, and the outfits/wigs were colorful.
