This is why you need to rely on more than just one huge game (Halo 4) to steal the show. They're shown a bunch of ********. They premiered ****ing EA Sports games. Their set-up consists of mainly entertainment/recreation ********.
Halo 4

Gears of War (trailer)

When was the last E3 where we had a major twist that no one saw coming?
I need something major to be revealed, software wise -- like....a Mass Effect 4 or Elder Scrolls 6 Online. A Master Chief Meets Mario game....
Rockstar would be smart as **** to release a GTA V trailer on their site during one of these conferences though. That's one of the most anticipated games that's not even announced for E3.

This has been their prerogative for years. They only seem to care about catering to the casual market, with the hardcore market being shafted more and more every year.
That was unveiled before E3 2006 at a separate event.
I could've sworn they announce the Wii at E3 though. like they had the wii in their pocket, and nobody saw it coming and then bam they announced it lol.

True. I'm sure they'll reveal something - but idk if it will be at MS or Sony's conference.
The fact that they opened with Halo 4 should mean that they have something significant for the end.

This conference is a flop.
Oh I thought you meant the full unveiling. Yes, they announced the Revolution at E3 05. That was epic.
