Very sad cause imo this her best album to date. However she was too confident about this era. She COMPLETELY ignores Human because it underperformed and is hating on it. This album is doing worse, will it be a normal thing for her to ignore all her albums from now on?

With Human she had the good promo but not the smash single, while she had both this era and it still did not happen. I think it's a bad day for r&b but honestly I don't think people are that interested in her anymore.

Monica had no hit single or whatever and she still did 100k+!

But, sis... The flop ain't the only reason for her to ignore it. The main reason is because it's a dated album, with just decent lyrics and an average production. After Full Moon (even with its loads of fillers) and Afrodisiac, it was a HUGE letdown.

the thing is, us, who honestly ADORED Human feel so betrayed when her, as an artist totally rejected it as her past work. the way she talks about it is like... how can we know Two Eleven is truly her? you know, that was a bad move from her I have to agree. Especially cause of touching lyrics that felt very close to the listener.

I do think the album will sale in the long run. I've heard friends who aren't fans comment on how strong she came back with "Put It Down." On the other hand, I think one thing that may be affecting her sales is the fact that many people don't realize the specialness in her voice. My little brother recently told me how ugly he thought her voice was, and someone else told me that her voice sounded better when she was younger

Actually, Monica's last album had no R&B hit and it sold 65K first week. Still Standing had 2 big R&B hits and a reality show which boosted it to over 180K in the first week.

Brandy only sold 70K with Human because it was released during the holiday. She sold about the same with Two Eleven WITHOUT holiday sales which means it is good.

IMO, Human was never meant to sell well, so I don't know why Brandy was so shocked with the results, but I think she mentioned that Darkchild was giving other artists his best work, and leaving her the scraps. In that case, I'd be feeling some kind of way too though lmao. Despite Right Here (Departed) being a top 40 hit, the album wasn't commercial or radio friendly. With that said, it was a great album.

exactly! and the way she didnt want to go on a tour with monica saying she does her own thing and she's on her own thing slapped her even more if Monica really will sell better than her in a long run.

you can't compare 2008 to 2012, everything changed in these 4 years
human was #15, two eleven #3

RHD was a decent pop single on the hot100
human did not have good promo, she was neglected by epic
there was a short spurt release week, nothing before nothing after

two eleven first week is not that bad considering everything
it's an amazing album, they can still work this
