Whether it is or isn't the first single, it's still getting Kelly plenty of promo for an official announcement for "Let Me Down" as the first single OR an unofficial buzz single with radio already starting to spin the song.
I'm not surprised that this may not even be the lead single. Some 'insiders' have been saying since the clips came out that this wouldn't be the first single. It may not be the first single, but it would be nice for RCA to use it as a buzz single to give everyone a little taste of KC before the real deal comes out.

Honestly I don't think it ever was. Perhaps it was in the running, but when word got out that people had the full song and were starting to leak clips they probably went with something else. Anything from Kelly I love, so I'm not worried about what the first single is... I'm just wondering when it will be released? lol

well this would be a perfect buzz single like what breakaway was.
Perfect buzz yes! Well Breakaway was never meant to be a buzz single since it was on a soundtrack - that one just took a life of it's own. This would be a good buzz single, because a lot of people thought she was gonna do a country album after her duet with Aldean. It'd be good for her pop fans to see, she's just queen of versatility and is jumping back to pop, hehe.
