The leaks happened last night with snippets. I think it fully leaked sometime last night (I went to bed at about 2 - 2:30am, so I wasn't here to witness it).
People feel like she might have leaked them herself considering the snippets that leaked were parts that had lyrics we already knew of. That and she had "favorited" a tweet someone made linking to the snippets for a while.
It's all speculation though.

When the image was released her Twitter account the caption read “Cover By Nick Knight and The Haus of Gaga 5 + 23 + 11” – this does not say Born This Way Cover in the caption.
Is Gaga creating a moment in history, mimicking the religious events told in the Bible, is she experiencing and expressing a spiritual death caused by the betrayal of Judas, is this a symbol for a resurrection to come?
This is just a theory, and I could be looking deep into this, but the Judas Release theory also looks deep into biblical context. If this album cover is the real deal, then props of Gaga, Knight, and the Haus. Fans might be disappointed, but the music is what matters.

Artists and record companies take down leaks, they do not spread them. Sounds like a clever ruse to me. I like it.

I'm not sure though. The snippets came down pretty quickly, but I'm sure she knew people would download them and they would spread like wildfire anyway - causing some hype for the song.
Yet, there was a story going around about how she was crying at the MB cause she was forced to release the song early.  So I don't know.

The album cover will have some reference to a unicorn on it, it will probably be in colour so to contrast with TFM.
I am holding out for that Lady Godiva reference, naked on a unicorn covered in her own hair. It references being born that way, as we are born naked. The unicorn has been popping up all over the place 
Wouldn't it be hilarious if that picture of her butt was the album cover after all.

This whole thing would make too much sense.
It can't be a coincidence that she rush releases Judas the day Jesus was crucified because of Judas. It's just not possible.
She's been on a catholic school so I'm 100 % confident, that this was planned.
And her tweets would fit in so much too.

She knows how to generate hype, that is for sure.
If this turns out to be true or even if enough people believe it's true, you know it's gonna be a story on big sites and entertainment TV shows.
