Albums like Volta and Biophilia have songs that have GREAT productions but they sound so TUNELESS. Poor Björk has to hum like a dying whale at most of the album songs, what a waste of good produced instrumentals .
So...The highest score I gave to Volta is 7.5 for Hope (lol) and to Biophilia is 9 for Mutual Core and Sacrifice. I reviewed my ratings to all albums but these two specific albums - no regrets.

You better have given Vertebrae by Vertebrae at least a 5, it was the only track that made Volta worth listening for me

I will say tho that An Echo, A Stain + Sun In My Mouth probably warrants a 7.5 or maybe even an 8 (if I'm being nice) but - as separate songs - they do nothing for me ESPECIALLY not after the 1-2-3-4-5-6 PUNCH that is Cocoon, It's Not Up To You, Undo, Pagan Poetry, Frosti, Aurora ugh Vespertine is so good

Aurora is overrated. I gave it a high score but it's like bottom 3 on Vespertine.
When I first heard Vespertine I thought it was the best but... yeah
I still like Aurora? But it doesn't sound like a Vespertine song to me anymore. When I first heard it, Aurora seemed like a good example of the whole choirs/harps thing that people had me believing it would be, but nowadays it seems like a very good albeit somewhat unneeded pop moment on an album that doesn't try too hard to be catchy and yet always is, it's almost filler. Unison has taken its place as the definitive Vespertine moment imo.

I agree, there are better Vespertine songs than Aurora although I wouldn't say it's bottom 3. I gave it a 10 for a reason Aurora is slight overrated tho, but yay I'm glad we all agree that Unison is a highlight.
