The digital era made it easier for people to get copies (iTunes, Amazon, Google Play). You could buy music on your PHONE!
The one woman who did it before the digital era, you had to buy a physical copy before it was sold out at retailers. iTunes never sells out of albums

You weren't even replying to a post that was talking about how Britney's record is so much better than Taylor's. The logic about how it's easier to get music today hence debuts should be higher is flawed but let me not get started on this coz it get discussed to death on another thread.
Just stop trying to make Britney look better/putting Taylor down coz both of them still got a pretty darn good record in their list of achievements.
and of course Billboard doesn't mention this "record" that has been taking this forum by storm I wonder how HDD and Billboard differ in copies and what counts. Go Taylor.
