Imo, IAD is a good song, but that's just it. It's not great like her other ballads tend to be, therefore it just falls somewhere in the middle. The HATE for it, I don't get tbh. It's not one of her worst and its not one of her best. It really doesn't deserve all the hate though

I love you, but ATW is not overrated. It has some of her best lyrics and phrasing to this date. People that don't appreciate Taylor even give praise to this song, Its story telling at its best. With that being said IAD is underrated greatly, and your right with the "over it" feeling with IAD, it's a beautiful concept, and she delivers it exceptionally.
