Teenage Dream. Can't wait until it reaches #6, to match its 6 #1s.

No stoping for Teenage Dream. Poor PRISM. Where is it on the chart anyway?

It has passed 1.2 million. A recent estimation was in early June and it was at 1.256 million.
Also, this week at No. 83. Only 7 weeks left. GO LANA!

I'm not complaining or dragging down Teenage Dream's sales, which are in the Top 12-15 for this decade and are nothing to laugh at. I'm legitimately asking how much longer and how many more copies Teenage Dream must sell to officially reach the 3 million units mark.
I've been one of Katy's defender's for TD's sales. No they don't compare to what albums sold 10, 15, or 20 years ago, but that's the case for everyone now except Adele. Even Swift would routinely sell in the 8-10 million range 10-15 years ago, as would have Teenage Dream (probably about the same amount as Faith Hill's Breathe, which produced six hits, including the #1 song of 2000).
So please don't automatically assume and accuse me of asking this question about Teenage Dream's sales as an effort on my part to try and "shade" Perry. That couldn't be further from the truth.

Omg nooo this wasn't geared to you at all, I'm so sorry! I frequent this thread quite often and often see people say "omg TD charted that long but only sold 2,9mil lmao" and then say nothing when Lana's about to enter this list. I'm sorry that my post made you think that I was complaining about you supposedly complaining but that truly wasn't what I meant with that

Lana's sales aren't unimpressive at all. She has maintained in the charts after being completly written off after SNL. She never had a huge peak in sales, but her sales stayed consistend throughout.
She also never had a huge hit in the US besides Summertime Sadness and the album still kept going.
In most recent history there has not been a female artist in America who was ignored this much by radio and still managed to have stable sales and chart or at least not having the same success. America was just 1,5 years late and Lana started to move away from BTD, not milking the album after Summertime Sadness.
The fact that some people (not people like brian) in here drag Katy has different reasons and we all know that.

You are okay. I just wanted to clarify my reasons for asking, and make sure everyone knew it was not because I was trying to put anyone down.
