THATS ALOT OF PROMOTION.
WHEN IN A PERFECT WORLD CAME OUT KERI HILSON HAD NO HIT. SHE HAD TURNIN ME ON WHICH DID NOT REACH #15 ON THE HOTT 100 UNTIL THE WEAK AFTER HER ALBUM OR THE WEAK OF. THEN CAME KNOCK YOU DOWN.
IM SURE SHE WILL DO FINE. IM GETTING 10 COPIES OF THIS ALBUM. AND I MEAN TEN LEGAL COPIES
if negativity spreads, so will the chances of this era being a failure. she has thousands of LOYAL fans who will support her. and even if she flops, WHO THE HELL CARES. i'm just happy that she even has a 2nd album at all. as long as she doesn't get dropped (which isn't likely right now) i'm fine
hits doesn't mean always album sales, I agree
but comparing Kanye with more than 1 album out and more than 1 succes to keri who must be happy she has a little hit.
Don't get me wrong, I really like Keri but she really needs to promote herself more and this album, all that Ive heard from it (so Breakin Point, the Way You Love Me & The Way You Love Me) are not really impressive and I guess for a lot of europe country's no hits...she even ahs a hard time in US.
Keri is not in the position to do a little or no promo
because even though hits doesn't give always album sales, they give a sort of album promo because the videos will be a lot on tv...people will be aware it's new.. so they are expecting an album....now I am afraid people will not even know she is releasing a new album.
Keri already had a hard time with her first album with all the leaks, failed singles etc.
Happy that she has a little hit? What's that supposed to mean? Keri has had 1 HUGE SMASH hit & 2 moderates (I'm being generous with I Like). 3 in total. And that's without adding The Way I Are.
It's a cruel world; we know that. The thing here is Keri IS being promoted; the fans are ready for the album release, she is lined up for various TV cameos in the upcoming weeks, as well as an unofficially announced promo tour for early 2011. She is slaying in every performance too. I love how you like Miss Keri Baby but the shade is THICK and easy to spot when you and your playboy bunnies bounce into Keri threads posting fail after fail. Now fall back.
Just think of this, during rhe next 2 days or so, most new songs that got release, esp' songs that are charting from new albums that just got released like Nick and Kanye will start to drop, the increase will be higher!!
The only guess I got is that her label pulled the song from Rhythmic before releasing TWYLM over there...But if they did do that, they are 100% stupid.
