The album is a good time. I'd reccomend having a listen.
Right though, those Wu guys stay busy. I mean, look at Ghostace's output the last 365 days alone.

Both albums are a pretty great listen. Hiatus is good for when you just want to chill and feel swanky.
The Erykah one was great.

I think you'd probably like the album if you liked the other two.

I think 25 is pretty solid after the first 3 songs.
The Iron Maiden one was a great return to form though. Feels like their classics

I agree with you. I took a listen to 21 recently just to confirm and yeah, that one was the whole middle section that drags. 25 >>>

Both are great. I would highly rec. Hiatus, CZARFACE is more of a hip-hop album, still great.

I do love me some metal music
They're pretty great!
Agreed about 25 though.

You're the best.
Why no Iron Maiden love though? Are you more of a Judas Priest guy?

I love these covers! These are 5 of my favorites for the year.
Not even gonna lie, I listened to two of these because I loved the cover so much.
I was getting sleepy listening to Adele and rambled on for a bit

Hiatus Kaiyote's album was indeed great, and I liked Adele's album too! I see that Jennay video too Even if you're not into her music she's got a great personality.
|
Right?
The CZARFACE cover is great. It made me check out the album that's for sure.
Agreed on Adele. I had to rewatch the Jenny video when I posted it. She's so funny.

25 had a few songs that I liked (River Lea, WUTB) but otherwise she's not for me.
I didn't expect to see Czarface on ATRL. . They got some great joints.
Haven't listened to Iron Maiden and don't have the desire to tbh.
|
Can't go wrong with R&B man, it's the bee's knees
CZARFACE were a great listen throughout the year. Glad you like them.

That video with Adele pretending to be Adele I luv her. The album is nice, too.
|
Erykah's mixtape has a lot to think about you know? It's also a really smooth listen. Like I said, I like the mixtape format because an artist can put out a looser project. She wouldn't have been able to release the project as a proper album.
Thanks for listening to Iron Maiden. I love them. Their older albums are their better ones of curse, but they still got it.
And right?
Adele is so funny how could you not like Jenny.

Adele always stands out from the crowd also I guess.

Erykah Though honestly now I'm just kinda waiting for her next LP. BUT New Amerykah part 1 was released after a long break and it's like a masterpiece so maybe I can wait a bit more for something of that quality.
I didn't like the Hiatus album that much. Maybe I just wasn't in the mood when I listened though.
|
I would love a new LP from Erykah, it's been 5 years? Right? Too long.
I do like that she tried out making a mixtape though to spur the creative process. It must be nice to be able to make a looser project like that and be able to release it without really having to worry about launching a proper album campaign.
The Hiatus album is a little weird. You kind of do have to be in the right mood. It's a nice album to cook to.

Do you like Jenny though?
Agreed on Hiatus they are great. After hearing this album, I went back to their first, I might prefer the first slightly tbh.

Also, I've missed WAY too much. I missed not one, but two appearances by NOTHING BUT THIEVES. Oh well, I got back in time for Adele and Maiden. UP THE IRONS!
|
Right?
That video was amazing. Adele's comedic timing >>> Who would have guessed?
And there are more appearances by NBT! Good time to come back though

I don't know if anybody really holds up 25 as a critical masterpiece. I think it's mostly just caught on because Adele offers something to like to pretty much everybody. I could see older people that don't really listen to too much pop music, holding up 25 as some example of "real music," but I would say it's properly rated as a decent album, sales aside.

No need to adjust your system
This song call it Jack Herer, cause a hit strong
Fist pump, Rebel on the set make your bitch jump
Doubt me? Get in line, cause the list long
Scandalous tight Nixon
'Melo in your face, like the Knicks on
I love it.
