Beastie Boys debuted at #5 according to the Archive. I'm guessing that was a mistake all along since the other debuts (Barenaked Ladies and "The Boy Is Mine") are correct. I'm just curious as to how you found that recap.

I wrote on it 'til 11/26(the notebook ended)

I remember it took 4 days to "n Sync take out Backstreet Boys, in the 10th day of TRL #1 was BSB, the #2 was Aerosmith, #3 was Korn and #4 was 'N Sync...

I never thought I would say this, but I would love to go back to when the Backstreet Boys and 'NSync ruled the countdown. Those 2 songs are considerably better than half of the current countdown.

TRL might as well just never come back.They totally destroyed themselves so much.They better realize they need to go back to the old format on this stupid week they gave themselves off.Well the Australian host will be there when they come back.The best way to save themselves is have her host solo and for Damien to be fired and to return to the old format,but knowing them its not gonna happen so just R.I.P. TRL.

I really don't care who hosts. It really wouldn't bother me if anyone at all hosted. All I care about is a format change

The producers are COMPLETLY missing the point of the show. This isn't a just a music countdown...it's a music VIDEO countdown. Just because the song is #1 in ringtones or hot 100 doesn't mean it has an AWESOME ASS video! WTF are they thinking!?!?!

I just don't think it's Damien's fault. It has to be the producers I believe they were the ones that changed the TRL format. I don't know why it wasn't going to give the show anymore appeal
