Lykke Li is Swedish, so that's a non-starter. (and trust, put her in a rate with Robyn and Annie - she's getting destroyed. bodied. bodybagged.)
La Roux is a DUO and does not really fit with the rest of these SOLO artists. That's like calling The Pet Shop Boys a solo artist because Neil is the singer.
And THEY do all dance. So, again, stylistically, that doesn't fit. There's only room for one outlier (as the other four were in some way clearly inspired by the 50s and 60s) and I chose Florence to be that outlier. She has a Brit, after all.
