It really does have Breakthrough Video winner written all over it: Innovative concept, experimental use of technical aspects like special effects and art direction, and a intriguing story that sometimes may overshadow the actual song. Plus, it being fan-voted this year, Gnarls Barkley has an advantage in being the most recognizable name. I'd love to see the video win, though, as it would be a way for MTV to reward Gnarls Barkley for all those years where it could've also won Breakthrough Video had they not gotten rid of the category ("Crazy" would've won in 2006, "Smiley Faces" in 2007, and "Run" might've had a chance in 2008)
