What did obama say that made him cry, i missed his speech
He was just talking about how he's gonna do all he can to help, and how we need to come together, but it was him being a father and talking about the kids between 5-10 years old being killed that got him going.
The parents of the deceased better get some sort of restitution. I mean, they literally have no closure otherwise. It won't bring their children back, or their mother/sister/aunt/etc back (the Principal), or the psychologist back ( I"m not sure their gender) but it's the effort that counts.
We need stricter gun laws in this country but unfortunately the National Rifle Association is one of the most incredibly powerful lobby groups in Washington so we all know nothing is going to happen. An insane person can get a gun so easily. This is the country where marijuana is illegal but assault weapons are legal SMH

This is just ... I haven't been this emotional over a news story in a long time. The details just become more and more heartbreaking.

Someone earlier in this thread ( I forgot to quote) said something along the lines of "even if the gun laws were changed, people will still be killed because people kill people". My rebuttal, yes people will still be killed inevitably however can one stab multiple people in a minute's time? No. This guy, had he not owned a gun more than likely would not have wreaked havoc on this school with a machete, I'm just saying people kill, but guns kill faster.
