Ryan just introduced me to Lana Del Rey and this song Born to Die 15 minutes ago. I was wondering what the heck people were going on about (and I honestly thought it was Gaga related since people on my timeline only tweeted about Born to Die by using the title).

When I heard the song and saw the video I just stared at the screen for 5 minutes. I was expecting something entirely different and this took me by surprise! Her voice is AMAZING. So captivating! I like the feel of the whole song. It's really mysterious in some way and so raw.

What a good day suddenly being introduced to songs just like that.

And wtf now I'm hearing she's a sparkling new artist, too!? DEATHHH, I thought it was some indie chick I just was unfamiliar with.

And 27 pages!? I'm so out of the loop.

Tell me something else about this chick? Is this her debut single?

I guess they just had a car accident and she died while her boyfriend survived. I think the message of the video is something like... 'Love Kills'. The dude was kissing her all the time, instead of paying attention to the traffic.
At least what I think is the plot... Don't know.
