He first was first known via collaboration with two great rapper B.o.B and Travie McCoy, but later this year he released a solo with Just The Way You Are. One of the songs that will be easily appreciated by the people because of its very refreshing tune and cheesy lyrics. Here in the Philippines, this song crossed the “masa stations” indicating that it is indeed very successful accross various radio formats. This memorable ballad from Bruno Mars was ahead of the previous entry (LTWYL) thanks to Glee’s version of the song!

"The Truth"
Kris Allen will not have another #1 song this year. But finishing at the runner-up position is not bad at all since he already won as the favorite male artist of 2010 earlier. This is actually one of his better songs in his CD because it showcases Kris pop charming voice and it is full of emotion, unfortunately it is not one of the songs worthy enough to follow LLWD. This song holds the record as the very first song to reach retirement status, but sadly it was not enough to put him at #1. (Another reason maybe was Jive’s stupid decision in putting Pat’s voice in the other version of this song)

"Teenage Dream"
Drum rolls please.... My #1 song of 2010 belongs to Ms. Katy Perry with Teenage Dream. This is an excellent year of Ms. Perry since this song already won earlier as the POP Song of the year. Aside from that she also did knocked off stiff competitors such as Rihanna, Ke$ha and Lady Gaga and bagged the favorite female artist of 2010. From the first verse to the chorus to the end, this song just never disappoints. Moreover, one of my favorite Glee covers this year was Teenage Dream and might just be one of the main reasons why it received some extra points enough to put it on top of the list! So, Congratulations Katy!
Yeah, stupid Jive for squeezing in Pat Monahan on "The Truth." And for him to actually sing the best part is a total wrecker. I cant at Jive thinking they could capitalize on "Hey Soul Sister's" success.
