PI's a case of too many cooks tbh. Each producer is good on their own but they have no experience working as a team. All fighting to get their bit in.
Compare that to experienced teams like Max and his minions, they all feed off one another and do what's best. There's no 'my idea' or 'your idea' its just the best idea. No egos, just good pop music.
Four big egos like Gaga, Mark, Kevin and Michael might sound good on paper but it's clearly a disaster and conflict of opinions.
