You know I'm a nice person so I won't report you, but please don't tell me to buy a brain. I'm very educated, and know exactly what I'm talking about, but thanks.
The storytelling is god awful. We did not get into depth about Apocalypse and his motivations. They did not do a good job explaining why he chose his Four Horseman and why they accepted. They left the Wolverine scene so open. Jubilee could've been excluded. The film focused too much on a few characters that the others fell short. The movie really is forgettable, and the few action scenes just did not live up to the hype.
These comic movie films should take a page or two out of MCU's book because they have crafted dozens of characters with prolonged story arcs that continues to cultivate into mega events. They made Ant-Man work and have a real impact in the films. Can you honestly say the same about X-Men? They have been doing these films since 2000 and have not gotten it perfect yet, 16 years later.
