You may not have asked Mimi to say those things to slander Kitt, but you did ask Mimi to help you get votes. So in order to get votes, make the other look so vile and a disgrace to ATRL to gain the votes. By association, you basically approved of it without approving it.

I don't know if Ethan and/or Pika had helped Kitt and what all they said if they did, but right now we are seeing what "your friends" are doing to get you votes on a poll.

I'm just utterly dissapointed in all this. I make a poll in The Lounge so you guys don't have to promote and spam people since the Games section is the most unpopular section on ATRL.

How am I approving of something that I had no part in taking. I didn't directly say "Mimi, go slander Kitt." That is no different then Pika and Ethan going to the individual Stan bases and telling them to go vote for Kitt.

And it was only one person no multiple people going across and slandering Kitt. So "my friends" is a stretch.

I think this poll thing turned into a mess when it became about what the advocators did for the two contestants, as opposed to what the actual contestants did.

I'm speaking about this because when I did the public vote for Big Brother 7, I sent individually a number of PM's to users, as did Callisto. collin didn't so that nessassarily, but for the main part, the contestants truly backed their seeking a vote for winning ANTM.

on the other hand, Matty, the possibility of creating a poll and having people other then the contestants advocate for a vote was bound to happen. I mean heck, survey monkey I have found can be biased since you can jump onto other web browsers and vote again, which can be handy in making a survey more biased towards a vote. I mean there have been threads that have lead users to get banned just to get people to buy, for example "Almost Home". Some people even do thread title changes on ATRL just to gain a bit of publicity for their rates. Some people stan harder then others just to get who they stan for a bit farther then others.

I'm not trying to shade you drip in the 2 paragraphs above at all, I'm just stating the general concept of the pros and cons to a public vote

We all know what Mimi did, he posted it on walls (EVEN TO JUDGE DOC TO GET VOTES) and threads. I'll agree with the friends thing, it may have been a stretch, but one can only be curious. Since I said a poll will be made you have made it clear you have started your promo campaign to get votes, one can only assume what all that promo entailed since you were vocal about it.

See his wall, see the mariah thread, see a recent post made in the poll, some took it seriously. This is ATRL most take things seriously anyway

Who said I was mad at Drip? I said I'm disappointed in all of this, not one particular person, but the entire thing. Never has this poll caused so much controversy. Also, like I told Jeremy, I had no idea what Kitt said to Ethan or Pika to get her votes. The main focus has been on Mimi's promo for Jeremy to gain votes.



I really didn't want to reveal this, but the reason why I'm upset about it all is because Kitt PMed wanting to quit and just let Drip win. She is extremely hurt by things Adam had said in the poll thread and what Mimi recently posted. She doesn't want to be associated in something like this if people are going to say nasty things to get the other person votes.

If you go in the Rihanna/Beyonce base threads you can find ethan's posts, he posted saying she stans for them so go vote for her in the poll.

Both Kitt and Drip had people canvasing votes for them, but I don't think either of them should be frowned upon because it's neither of their faults what other members do to get them votes.

The poll is a popularity contest at the end of the day, people will vote who they want to, regardless of what other people tell them to do That's how I see it.

Looking at the big picture, I am not frowning upon anyone for promoting their friends, asking them to promote them in bases. That is fine, even though that was not my intention for ya'll to do because I wanted people to go in the thread and vote cause they saw the thread.

It is the smaller picture, of one person that has me upset. PMing people, posting in their bases, calling someone a racist, someone who sends death threats, etc. That is what is bothering me! I don't give a **** about "Go vote for this person because she/he stans for this artist" but slandering like that just to give votes to someone else and see it effecting people.

Just let me ask, how would you like it if you were in the final two and you knew your other finale member had asked a member to promote for them. You then see posts of that member calling you a racist, someone who sends death threats, slandering your name just to give votes for someone else.

I'm more mad at Mimi, which is why I permabanned him from this thread. I know Drip was just trying to promote his name seeing as he saw promo being done for Kitt, but having someone who posted such bull to get votes its wrong. But I think it was unfair of you to say this about Drip - He would never want any of those things said about Kitt, (it made it sound like you were saying guilty by association, and that's not cool). Ethan was gathering votes for Kitt and nobody was doing it for Drip which was unfair, maybe that's why he wanted someone to help him too, to level the playing field. Either way Kitt and Drip are both innocent and I think the poll is irrelevant, I mean it was pretty much tied before Mimi started posting any of it's messages. They are both winners in my eyes

Kitt stans for Rihanna, Nicki, and Beyonce, so I went in those three bases and told them to support their fellow Hive/Barb/Navy because they might otherwise not have known. I wasn't the only one that did this. I also posted in the Gaga base, I can take the heat for that. It was more of a joke and it would have stayed a joke/non-factor if not for all the other stuff that has gone on. People are making it into a bigger issue than I intended, which is a shame because, as someone mentioned, the focus is shifting away from the contestants. I was not trying to be anti-Drip when I was getting Kitt support, that's the difference. Mimi was being anti-Kitt, not pro-Drip.

I already apologized to Kitt, it's a shame that people blow things out of proportion and take it too far.

That was was a little too much and I had apologized to Jeremy about it. I am not mad or was not attacking him even if it looked like. I was just mad at the entire situation.

I still stand by what I said a little. If he had seen these posts he could have told mimi to stop and delete the posts. It's all a two way street and two sides to every story. Overall, I am not mad and was not my intention to make it look like I was attacking Jeremy.

Put yourself in my shoes though, you'd be pissed too. This poll was just to see what atrl thinks but ultimately it is was the judges choose and that's how it always has been.
