For example astaxanthin is a popular one that allows you to literally tan without protection and you won't get red or peel
I don't have a melanin problem so I never tried these myself but yeah these do help. Otherwise I'd say just accept the color that you are and embrace it if you do not want to fake tan/go actual tanning
