Yeah. Apparently there is a great demand of O blood. I usually donate just one oont each time but one of the donor helpers said "you need to do double red cell donation we NEED your blood" and I'm like "well if you praise me I'll donate" and he's like "please sir would you allow us to have more of your precious blood" and I said "well if you insist"
That was the third time I donated and ever since then I did double red cell donation.
I believe O type blood can be given to anybody regardless of what their own blood type is which is why people with your blood type are encouraged to donate
