people act like these chronic-type conditions are things that you can just forget about most of the time, but tbh i'm still scared to say i'm upset to most people that know my history because i feel like they'll try to get me into a hospital, even if i'm not upset to that strong of an extent. if it makes you feel any more normal, it doesn't really completely go away, and i don't know if everyone understands that.

I get what you mean. I mean I usually don't even think about It. I live with It for 8 years and I never made a big deal out of It which was a bit of a failure. My friends for example would never guess that I'm laying in my bed right now, crying, because I feel left alone with this thing fighting against me. My body is literally fighting a war against itself and even If I don't feel It in my daily life It always comes back to that thought of being helpless and weak and that's just not who I am OR who I want to be. I think I'm gonna talk to my close friend about It and open up a bit more about my fears instead of joking about It. I need to find a healthy way to keep the balance between not giving a **** about It and still having the amount of respect for the virus.
