I get that you're gonna call me a hater for this because I'm a monster, but I really don't get the love for this song.
I've listened to this song loads and I can't remember the hook
there isn't a memorable melody least for me
when I listened to the album I thought it was filler
and then I come on here and y'all are praising it to high heavens.
I would like to reiterate that I am not a hater, I actually quite like the album, Legendary Lovers, WOA and DH were some of my favourite songs of last year
WOA should have been the fourth single instead of this. It's instantly memorable when I first listened to the album, without having heard the promo singles, it was easily the standout
That said, y'all do too much on the video
it may be a little long but it isn't actually that bad
I would wish ha luck but she doesn't really need it, so I wish ha well
Not surprised though, I've heard her songs several times on the urban station in DC, WPGC 95.5. They've played everything from ET, TGIF, TOTGA, and of course DH. I expect to hear Birthday soon
I just love how fun it is. I love when Katy has the opportunity to show this side of her rather than what we saw for Unconditionally which was obviously a lot more serious (which is deffo the best visually this era). I don't understand the hate for it tbh, maybe it's just on ATRL.
