Was it really a surprise tho? Keeps Gettin' Better was a lead single only 2 years after B2B and spent 1 week in the top 10 and peaked at #11 on Top 40 (with a video and VMA's performance). I'd say that was kinda telling of what was to come

Comparing this song to PI is the perfect way to illustrate what a talentless label puppet Gaga was

She should just go back to letting RedOne/Rob Fusari etc write all her songs for her like she did back when she was successful, it's pretty clear @ this point she's unbelievably talentless as a songwriter

There's nothing Gaga can do really. It's not about the songs, her whole career from the day Just Dance and Poker Face smashed relied on her persona and gimmicks. Everything after that that smashed was because of her, because of Gaga, now she's just a relic of the electro pop dance era. She's seen as something that's simply not current and trendy among the current generation. She hasn't had a huge global non-frontloaded hit since 2011. So she should just continue doing what she is now, release the video, perform the song and then drop the album so at least her fans get what they want.

True. She is no different than LMFAO or Psy. Had she been a true visionary she would have left the dance craze in 2011 like Rihanna did but no she had to make generic EDM in 2013 when no one cared anymore

idk KGB kinda felt non-eventish but I remember the internet hype around Bionic, the stans were going crazy, thoseiamamiwhoami videos and people thinking it was Xtina the cover reveal, the hype around it being 'experimental' album

and then the tacky single cover the tacky lyrics the tackiest video ever it stalling on itunes Not Sales Tonight nickname and memes people from exhale made literally for me at least it was the biggest flop event in the stan world, only comparable thing was Roar destroying Applause
