Because that's when the true character unveiled, with today's society, goody-good image can only do so much. That's why Miley Cryus got judged every now and then for her normal behaviour. Cause nearly 90% of her image was manufactured by the PR machine. People feel cheated. Totally different case with Fiona Apple for example, she's not portraying anyone. She's just Fiona. Even with the recent cannabis 'scandal', people grew loving her even more. Weird but that's the fact.
That's why I'm kind of thankful for the Lord. She's both a good girl AND a weird girl. Now I only need her to stop pleasing those kids and their lazy mothers who put the responsibility of being a role model to CELEBRITIES & Artists.

do people really let things go that fast with a simple apology. 99% of the comments are saying he did nothing wrong 
imagine if Tay was in the same situation how the reaction would be so much different or even imagine Brad Paisley they would lose 90% of their fanbase real quick.
