Like Cosmo said, that may not be how the contract works. It's very likely that HWR has (near) full control over the album, so if they want a 3rd and 4th single, they can indeed push a 3rd and 4th single. The contract only covers 4 albums, and even though I really don't know the content of the contract I doubt it also specifies only 2 singles per album.

I know this is extremely off topic but I agree with you...that's what it looks like ATM! But honestly, I would hate for Demi to be the only one to stay with HWR ! Like she can do better! But if this is all true, I believe HWR will support Demi's next era a lot!
Why are they pushing this so hard. Unless people like this song and are requesting it (which I doubt looking at iTunes) they need to move onto something that could actually sell the album somewhat like two pieces or really don't care. This song is as forgettable as they come.
The callout scores are actually good though, people enjoy hearing it on the radio and that along with the lack of big releases right now are making it increase a lot.
I mean I'm so happy to see the song succeeding so much on radio (means that radio will support Demi, something a lot of artists don't have), but the fact that it's just doing average digitally is just going to open the song up to so much bashing. Plus, it just does not represent Demi as an artist. I've always thought it was a nice catchy song, but was not sure if it was right for Demi. I hope her next album sees her releasing songs that are true to her.
