I don't know why everyone thinks videos help airplay? They usually don't.
Although BOY is a great video, if anything, it would only help album sales, and that in itself will be a minimal effect.

And look at that eh? Fall Out Boy is top 10 over +600 as Nickelback gets extremely close soaring up to +900. Ashlee & Ryan Cabrera have similar bullets (+450ish) in the low 30's. Looks like both may take a while to catch on, but there growing.

I wish Kanye would fall soon. His next single will HOPEFULLY bomb after the overplayment of Golddigger.

Video's can help with single sales as well. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if TRL had a significant effect on digital single sales.

Videos help people get into songs. Though since most big stations just play what they want to regardless of requests or votes, the effect on airplay is minimal.

Heard 'Em Say and Touch The Sky are both, like, 100 times better than Gold Digger, so I certainly do not hope for either or to bomb. I think HES is the third single now in the US, right? Or did they change it to TTS?

Anyway, Hypnotize is doing really well and could wind up doing better than B.Y.O.B. It's a more radio friendly song to boot.
