My school is college-prep, and some alumni say that the level's about the same for my year for the local university. Senior year has the least amount of work load, so I'm excited for next year. I think it'll be hard to manage the workload with a job though, since I don't have a part-time job yet.

It's Language & Composition. I actually didn't know at first, but I looked up my teacher's website. I haven't started the class yet. I was in it for a week at the start of the school year before I switched my schedule and moved it to second semester. I have a really good teacher though, so I'm not really worrying about it.

AP Lang was proabably my favorite AP class! You definitely should take that test!

How does your school work? If you moved it to second semester, how do you have time for the course? Isn't it a school year long course? My school had two semesters. We start in September and the first semester ends around the end of January.

I'm pretty sure it'll probably be one of the tests I do end up taking. I've been told the actual test isn't too bad.

It's really weird. We take 8 classes a year, and each semester we have 4 classes. So each day we have 4 classes that are each 1h30m long. There are also a couple of exceptions. Like, I'm taking Yearbook which is a yearlong class, so I'm taking it both semesters, instead of just one. We've finished up with our first semester classes already, and next week we'll be starting our new classes for second semester.

Every night you'll study about 4 hours minimum. This will consist of doing "assignments" (usually just assigned questions out of the textbook), reading chapters before a lecture, reading chapters after a lecture, synergizing the notes you took while reading the book before a lecture with the notes you took during the lecture, doing bonus problems so you understand how a concept works, and then you're done

That's why I do most of my work at school in between classes, so I have minimal work when I get home

So, I'd say a week's work in college/university is about a month's work in high school

They have no idea how rewarding it is to go to school, and to learn about things that you actually want to learn, and to expand your knowledge of base. Going to university has improved my quality of life so much
