Maybe sometime in the fall I can come out east.

Ireland
The only island in the world where we get rain every day yet can still have a water shortage. And my favourite acts rarely come here, Die Antwoord did though, phew.

My boyfriend of 6 years is American so I know, I hate our accent though. And no, didn't meet on the internet, I lived in Minnesota for a good while on a couple different occasions, went to school there and all.
I see why tourists like it but it's so small, it get's to the point where you wanna leave and enter the big bad world.

So are you and your bf living togehter? What is happening there? Tell us about him and stuff
Us singles need to know what it's like... that it isn't just a dream
I know how you feel about small places.. I am from aruba, and lived here for like 19 years.. then moved to Canada to study.. everytime I am back on Aruba, I get so bored.. I have been here for over 3 months and am READY TO KILL MYSELF.. it's sooooo boring
Cannot wait to be back in the great white north!

I'm kinda disapointed that I've lived in Canada all my life, and seen little of it. I traveled around BC and Alberta lots, and had 2 trips to Saskatewan.
I've seen more of the US, then I have my only country.

Met him when I was 12, been together properly since I was 15 but he likes to count from when we met , he's lovely and treats me like a princess. We want to get married but being from different countries that requires a certain type of visa and a lot of money but we gotta do this thing right so for now I visit him when I can between college terms and we see eachother when we can, I normally spend 3 months there in the summers but I had obligations this year We want to live here for a good while to take advantage of free healthcare and stuff. It's hard but it's worth it through and through.
I've never been to Canada but Minnesotans are practically Canadian anyways and that is my state of choice.

Oh yes they really really are, especially in Dublin. Irish people do not traditionally like the English and vice versa, it goes way back though. The North (where I am now) is rough for people who live here but we are all lovely to tourists, I have dual citizenship so I am both Irish (republic) and British (Northern Ireland).

It is stunning when the sun is out but that is never a guarantee.
I'm blessed to go to college in the Titanic Quarter where the Titanic Museum and a recreation ship as well as plenty of new developments surround me, plus it's pretty cool to be where the titanic was built on a daily basis. Game Of Thrones is also shot near by so that is cool...my step-dad is the head chef at a hotel where the actors stay and we have signed books and stuff.

I have to do a roadtrip of all of Canada before I die tbh. I want to drive through many of the provinces and just see the scenery.. I especially need to see Vancouver.. it just seems sooooo pretty.. Currently, I have only been in Ontario and Quebec... Both being next to each other, they are very different..

omg.. long distance is so hard.. but you both being able to do so shows that it's a strong relationship.. I am happy for you.. I bet that getting married and a citizenship will be a bitch..
tbh, if I fall in love with a Canadian and get married, I would drop my citizenship for a Canadian citizenship in a heartbeat... Dutch citizenship is ok, and comes with many benifits, but I would be proud to be Canadian moreso then an aruban dutch citizen..
It's very hard to do such things.. but at least you have over 6 years of relationships, so it can't be that hard.. it would be easier if you both lived together.. maybe you can have him come over? Have you talked to the embassy yet and see what the rules are?

You can't imagine how much I hate it here.. Not only is it small, but the gay community is even smaller, and I see everyone all the time when I go out even though I wanna ignore their asses.. I am always cordial so it's not too bad, and I don't have issues with anyone technically.. but I am sure there are the awkward 1 night stands that I just try and avoid..
It's a nice beautiful island.. but not for living.. not for me.. to small!

The last season of the Amazing Race went to Belfast, and it certainly looked beautiful from what I remember. They even visited the Titanic Quarter too.
Have you ever been to Scotland? Its the only real place in the UK that I actually want to visit.

I haven't been through all the states but I have ridden across the USA before.I prefer looking at impressive SKYLINES over mountains and 'rolling countryside' tbh.

Countryside is where it is at, natural beauty is the best kind, I could never live in a city.
I've been in quite a few states. New York, New Jersey, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, California, Nevada, Illinois, Ohio, Massachusetts. Over a fifth, not bad for a non-native.
