What would you do if your family doesn't like your gf/bf's family? Would you break up with him/her? or should your family deal with it and leave you live your life?

Sorta, but he doesn't have a steady income. He freelances on websites coding and writing articles but that doesn't pay the bills.

That seems like a reasonable age. At 18 I feel like most people have a good judge of character at that point. If you feel secure in him I would go for it. Just don't dismiss your family because they're only trying to protect you.

So basically you're saying everything is pretty much the way it was when you guys were first together cause that is literally the same exact thing you said after y'all got back together after the no kissing him goodbye thing or whatever the hell that was.
We are going to a late night movie and I have told him that he has to pretend to be my childhood best friend who just came down from Newcastle because a few friends will be there.
