Because, it was found in the report that she her officials knew about the attempts. In one instance Pagliano (her IT guy) shut the server down to protect it from the attacks. Investigation showed she knew, outside officials knew, and she did not report the attacks to the state dept.

Okay so her officials knew about it. That doesn't mean she knew. And the fact of the matter is her email server was eventually not hacked.

The investigation didn't show she knew. It showed her top aides knew about the attempted hacks but did not report them

Why would her aides not to report that her? And it still her aides and her server whom she is responsible for. And know one knows if it was hacked or not, though we have a hacker in custody claiming he did.

Well the State Deparment a few months ago released a statement saying there were no indications that her emails were being compromised. So attempts led to nothing concrete with evidence to show it was fully hacked.

And it's a shame the state department spokesperson did that but that's not her fault. Someone gave her the OK, even with the little information that they knew, so it wasn't her fault

How would they have known to investigate any compromises if she aides her aides didn't report the hack attempts? And it has been proven no one gave her the okay based on the investigation. She lied.

She's not completely responsible for her aides. Obviously there has to be some delgation. How close were these aids to her? Were they her direct assistant who had direct access or where they an assistant of an assistant of someone in the office? Clinton can't be over looking every aid all the time. If she was, then there would literally be no point of having a staff/aides.

Hillary has the best chances. She's the most experienced and she's a strong debater. She's not very well liked, though, which makes it difficult.

Trump has very vocal supporters and a strong following, but he also has a lot of people who dislike him. As time goes on, his supporters could increase, but the people who dislike him could also grow greatly, since he says a lot of controversial things.

Apparently you don't have to report hacking attempts. You only have to report if you think the information has been compromised

“Notification is required when a user suspects compromise of, among other things, a personally owned device containing personally identifiable information,” it says.

So if the aides who knew didn't suspect the information was actually compromises they didn't have to report it

And there was a member of the Legal staff who quit in 2012 and declined to speak about the matter who may or may have known about Clinton's server.

There's still no indication of criminal charges, and there probably wont ever be.

Many people are confusing the FBI's national security function with its law enforcement function. If the FBI ran across information justifying criminal charges, they would follow it, so we can't 100% rule it out, but no one has suggested that has happened or is likely to happen. The referral to the FBI by State and Justice explicitly said it was not a criminal referral, and the latest report from the State IG confirms that no criminal violations were found. So this report had nothing to do with criminality as an internal audit. It does however imply that she likely violated the Federal Records Act. But the thing is that the Federal Records Act has no criminal sanctions for non-compliance. As well as the act not even covering electronic communications until late 2014.

So even if she did violate the FRA, there are no criminal charges that would be filed for it.
