I lowkey forgot that Luke had/has(?) ties to Nickelodeon and wrote/composed/produced alot of their music No wonder Kesha's unreleased music was featured prominently on their shows and Miranda got "Disgusting"
75% of my plays are exclusively from September 2013 until now, though. Her numbers would be a LOT higher had they been counting all of the plays Red got. WANEGBT, IKYWT and 22 alone would probably all have at least 200+ plays, especially 22, which was my favourite Taylor song until 1989 came along.
Kesha could neva
EDIT: She just passed Gaga too, welp! Looks like my sig needs a rearragemenT

'Red' was the first album of hers that I listened to in full. It's such a great record. "All Too Well" still hits hard. "22" is like the perfect pop song. "Starlight" is AMAZING. State Of Grace, Red, IKYWT, I Almost Do, WANEGBT, Stay X3, The Last Time, Holy Ground, Everything Has Changed and Begin Again are all amazing too. Basically most of the record is brilliant.
I feel like '1989' IS better though because the deluxe tracks are all just as good as the standard (all of the deluxe Red tracks are kind of throwaways) and basically every song on 1989 is at least a 7/10. It's just consistently good, on the whole, which Red kind of lacked that cohesiveness and varied in quality.
I've listened to Speak Now in full recently (a few months ago) too and I really enjoyed it. I can't believe Taylor wrote every single song independently! That's just amazing.
Kesha should release an album like that. An album of Past Lives >>>>>
IDK if I'll like 1989 as much as I did Fearless, Speak Now or Red (haven't listen to Taylor Swift), because I don't really use POP Taylor that much. I kind of want her to go back to country or start making music in the same vein as "State Of Grace" after this album and serve another Haunted, Untouchable, Crazier, or Speak Now as a whole. Hopefully I'll like it when I get it tomorrow
Get into TS. It has some CUTE songs. Mary's Song, Our Song >>>>>
I embrace both sides of Taylor and don't really mind the 'change' because there's always been a thin line between her styles. It just feels like a natural progression, not a change.
