It doesn't matter what song you give him or where in the song he starts, he always sounds the same. Just loud. All the time. Paul has shown so much more diversity in the short period of time he's been there than Aundrea all this time.

paul didn't really have any personality and he was never really willing to step outside of his comfort zone, in my opinion. but each to their own!
to be honest, i think jay really did have potential. he just needed to be a little more experimental. you saw glimpses of it but it was never enough.
I guess his third performance was good. He got a bit boring later on.
I think Jack left too early. The fact that Mel still praised his Bleeding Love performance.

I agree. Paul doesn't have a personality. But you can't fault his musicianship, he actually listens to the music whereas Aundrea yells over it. Because he has such a superficial understanding on the soul divas he aspires to be. It's just about being loud and complicated riffs.
