A paragraph from the ELLE article where Eli Roth talks about Selena.
Eli Roth is gushing, but not in the way you'd expect from a bona fide member of the "Splat Pack," a group of blood-and-guts horror auteurs that includes James Wan and Rob Zombie."Anything for Selena."He beams."In anything I'm working on, she has an open invitation to do...whatever she wants to do!"The 40 year old Roth first met Gomez last year, when , he says, "I was at the premiere of The Thing with Marylin Manson, and one of the producers told me, 'Selena Gomez is here, and she's dying to meet you.' At first , I couldn't process it."Roth is known for directing and producing the kind of splatter-**** face that relentlessly tortures and torments ingenues like Gomez in one film, and then lets them loose to turn the tables and (literally) castrate those tormentors in the sequel. But it was over that brutal filmography that the two first bonded. "She knew a lot of the originals - The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Friday the 13th, films that her generation only know through remakes- but I was most impressed that's she'd seen Hostel: Part II" a Roth-directed film that, it's worth noting, is so depraved in its violence that it is censored in Germany. "You've got to be a real fan to come back after Hostel. That's my litmus test."

I'd love to see Selena in one of Roth's horrors... I know she's in that Aftershock film but that's only a cameo...

From what I've read he really loves her he speaks highly of her and says anything that he does that she wants a part of she can. So that's good I'm sure they'll work together in the future.
