Yeah, it was a mess, I agree. I think that Already Gone was the last "global" and proper single and then all the random releases. AIEW for the US and Canada, Cry for Australia...

Cry was released in Germany (and the UK I believe) and it was actually played on the radio

Listening to Miley's album snippets made me sooo antsy about WIR snippets. I think that's one of the most exciting parts of an era and I can't waitttttt. Doesn't it come out on 25th Oct in Australia? We're gonna get it soon

I agree. I remember listening to previews of Stronger for sooooo long. I need one tiny little snippet of any of the songs on WIR (I would prefer one of the original songs the most tho).

In the UK we had MLWSWY in February, IDNHU in June and then AG in September.

I was so upset they waited so long to release IDNHU, it really killed off the momentum of MLWSWY, then after IDNHU underperformed, AG had no chance of success, especially with no promo, so that flopped and we didn't even get AIEW.

They really messed up a potentially SMASH era.

Oh I didn't know AG flopped in the UK. It received tons of radio support here so it became a moderate hit. She ruined her era by not performing IDNHU on one of the biggest shows here at that time, but they insisted she should lip synch, so she cancelled last minute. By doing that, she broke the promo contract with Germany's biggest tv station and now they refuse to promote her. She even had their logo on the AIEW cover in Germany.
