what has YG contributed this year outside of Blackpink? Lee Hi sucked and AKMU was boring broadway music for old people. WINNER came through with Baby Baby and that was it.

JYP gave us GOT7's amazing mini, Wonder Girls....Cheer Up was huge but nothing special sonically and the mini was so-so (although a step-up from the last). What else?

SM gave us quality through and through. Every single release had 2-3 good songs on it.

Cheer Up is not amazing due to its sales,

it's just pop perfection, HOOK after HOOK, and highly infectious/catchy

What else could one ask for?

Honestly tho, both YG and JYP released much less (or just more forgetable) material than SM. There's bound to be songs you don't like when they're giving solos to everyone.

To the Beautiful You is the greatest song of all time so JYP kinda wins by default.

All the material was interchangeable with zero personality.

Monster was good, so was the 7th Sense,Tiffany had like 2 cute songs,
and the rest was a mess

No wonder all of them tanked and were forgettable/ had zero impaKt

Halien, I was talking to one of my friends about that recently Chanwoo used to have such a round face and look so kiddy and now he's developing this chiseled jawline and maturing. sorta like Jungkook from BTS lol. Him and Yoyo are gonna be the top visuals in the group.
