Exactly. It's no wonder radio doesn't play them as much as we'd like since they continue to pay them dust.
Regardless, the fact that this lead single will sell nearly two times as much first week as the awful SGM and the fact that it has had better peaks all over the world gives me hope that their fifth album will outsell Four. Now if they could only pull a real hit out of this one.

Every artist does that.

Compared to most touring artists, they don't have to work nearly as hard because they don't write a lot of their music, have fairly simple tours, and are a part of a group.

If drag me down keeps doing well and their next single is just as good, 1D5 will definitely outsell Four. I just hope their next single isn't mid-tempo like Night Changes. Even though we'll like it it probably won't do as well with the GP.

Yeah, me too. I'm not a huge fan of their mid-tempo songs (except SOML and Moments). I wish they'd pull a 'They don't know about us' on us.

I like a few of their mid-tempo songs, but mostly from their early albums.

Nowadays I prefer their uptempos

I am sure it it, but not any more exhausting than what other artists do... and they manage to promo

And 342 tour dates since 2011 is what...25% of their time ? Adding travelling you can say 50% of their time is dedicated to touring. That's still more than enough time left for promo.

We know they aren't as involved in their careers as other artists but it's still tiring.

Their team must care more about touring than promoting and selling their music then because if they made the boys do more promo it's not like they can say no.
