Macy's interview Selena Gomez.
The publisher’s site store Macy’s , Tonya Mann, interviewed Selena at the launch of her perfume in New York. Check out what she had to say below:
M: You took a different path to produce its scent, letting their fans decide what are the notes.How was it? Do you feel that you captured, and you are happy as it was?
SG: Absolutely. I am very happy with it! I could choose the first notes, and they had to choose between my favorite. I feel like I would in any way I love the fragrance, but it was much more than I thought. It’s amazing! My fans gave me great tips would choose as the final notes. They are super honest, which is good! I am very proud and I loved the result.
TM: What perfume you wore before that?
SG: I used the Daisy. He also had some body sprays from Victoria’s Secret.
TM: Sometime Someday? [I could not resist asking about the first perfume of her boyfriend, Justin.]
SG: [She smiles and laughs] I actually used it. He did not want me to wear. [I think it makes sense considering that she has won the hearts of Bieber.]
TM: What does it mean for you to have your fragrance at Macy’s?
SG: I wanted to make sure my perfume would be well cared for, and Macy’s knows how to make your perfume to be a success, so I knew I would be fine here.
TM: They are talking a lot about changing the image that you are taking, and changing to an older fan base. Do you think this perfume is for all ages?
SG: For all, yes. I’ll be honest, I’m still in a strange transition. The younger mean much to me, so I wanted to make sure that the perfume would be for everyone. Thus, even my mother mother. She uses all the time, I hug her and say, “You’re wearing my perfume?” . In the end, I was not wanting to be for one or the other. I just wanted to create a product that could be well represented as perfume.
TM: Any tips on beauty that you can share? Favorite products? [Confession - I have an amazing eyelash envy of Selena. And the lip gloss she’s wearing is wonderful!]
SG: Moisturizer! Whether in summer or winter, my skin is always dry, so always use moisturizer.Regarding the tips, less is more. I got to wear much makeup lately, I’m used to seeing me that way forever, I was wrong without it. So I want to take a break. Only that less is more. [I totally agree!]
