Seriously though, I'm actually a little surprised at how piss poor Luke's defense is, right out of the gate.
His team are throwing out a whole bunch of irrelevant little bits of information to make it look like they're actually doing something, all the while they're probably panicking because they know they're ****ed if Kesha really does have evidence and willing witnesses that will come forth with testimonies that will hold up in civil court.
Claiming to have a haunted vagina is not an offense. Drinking urine is not an offense. Dressing up like a penis is not an offense. Rape IS an offense. Kesha is making claims that actually mean something in regards to the case. Luke's team are just trying to damage Kesha's integrity by trying to make her look bad, but the difference is, she would be more than willing to admit to these things. She did them in PUBLIC, where anyone could see. What Luke's being accused of was done in the privacy of his home. Rape isn't just something that someone cries about to get out of a contract.
Luke can keep on making irrelevant claims like, "I haven't seen Kesha for years," (Um, what does this have to do with the allegations that you raped her 9 years ago?) while Kesha can gather and line up the evidence and witnesses that will help her win this case.
I'm really struggling to listen to Kesha's music now after all of this. All I can think is "What if she hates this song and was forced to sing it?", which is a little hard to believe after hearing her passionately (sounding) talk about the tracks on the track-by-track Spotify commentary.
Just listen to Party At A Rich Dude's House, Animal, Dirty Love, Wonderland, Love Into The Light and Past Lives. You can't go wrong there, Kesha's admitted many times that these are some of her favourite tracks of her discography.
Oh, and C U Next Tuesday too I guess, since she pushed to have it on Animal and Cannibal.
I'm not not gonna listen to a song because Kesha might not like it. I mean if it's a song from my fave and I love it, I'm not just gonna stop listening to it, it's not like it's going to chance anything.
Those songs have been made and it's in the past. Now we just need to focus on the future and hope she can make songs she actually likes and wants to make
