I feel like my mom and maybe even my dad know I'm LGBT but I think they'd put me more towards gay than bi. The only reason I haven't come out yet is because I don't want to potentially make my relationships between the both of them awkward. Plus, to be honest, I've seen some videos + heard stories of people getting thrown out of their house as their family wasn't accepting and I just don't want that to be me. I mean I know both of them have never said anything bad about gays/lesbians/bisexuals and I'm extremely confident they'd never do that to me but you just never really know.

My father's a homophobe and my mother has never said a word about anything gay in my presence, which is probably a bad sign.

I'm pretty sure your mom would prefer if you wouldn't leave her. The truth will come out eventually, it's just up to you to decide how and when she receives it.

yeah it would be nice if we had a good mother/daughter relationship but we don't and never have. literally the only thing keeping us together is the fact that we're mother and daughter. we have nothing else in common. one time my mom said "I hope my kids leave and go as far away as possible as they can". She didn't mean it like she hates us, but just that she realizes the situation we're in now isn't good and I'd be better off without her
