I am only stating IMO as a top member one should be original and try to stand out, not that a challenge requires you to.
It's the same concept of ANT model, where the winner in the judges eyes can model, but also have that extra special something to make them a top member.

It's the same reason why Allison Harvard (unfortunately) didn't win ANTM TWICE.

I may sound pressing in my posts above, but I was only expressing my views on what material we submitted. I might also be pressed since I had a few gifs I would have used, but I saw that as unoriginal and using google image search to see if they were atrl, to verify their originallity. Otherwise a used gif IMO would not be something a top member would do

I know where I stand in the competition, nearly on the brink of being eliminated, but that doesn't mean when doing these challenges I should do what will satisfy the challenge, but to be an original and potential top member.

Before we discuss originality, let's come to peace with the fact that 50% of the gifs submitted CANNOT be used in 90% of the post on this forum, as Matty stated when assigning the challenge. Above all, a Top Member should be able to follow simple instructions

Nowhere does it say that popular gifs can't be used.

But Energy, you are COMPLETELY misunderstanding what Matty meant. He said that gifs are in about 90% of all posts on ATRL so that's why this challenge is important. He did not say the gif you chose has to work in 90% of the posts on this site. That's just rediculous.

None of the gifs we submited were original, so I was completely taken back when you guys said that.
Half of the gifs we have seen and the other half can be found probably be found under a Tumblr tag.
