My brother doesn't watch the show regularly and he thought Phillip was great (and just asked me the name of the song), so other casual viewers might be swayed as well.

The repeat songs are death traps. You're either smart or you're stupid. You do one that was good before the top 13 or you're just wrong. Not many Idol watchers would've remembered Jessica's The Prayer, and it has a moment. Phillip did a top 13 song that wasn't even particularly memorable.

R1: **** Fuller picks, but Phillip wins because he sounded sincere. Jessica sounded plastic on an overdone song.

R2: Jessica won. No argument can be made for Phillip.
