Yes, Scream Queen is supposed to be satirical, but not all of it is exactly good satire. While I think Chanel's overall problematic nature casts a good light on the many actual racist incidences that frats and sororities have been involved in, spouting racist jokes and rampant stereotyping isn't good satire. It's not witty or clever; it's just lazy.
It could be handled better. Chanel explaining to the maid character that the spices the "ethnics" bring will make the "fatties" bowels explode? That was funny. But then they had to throw in that cliched ass white girl pumpkin spice joke. Chanel foaming at the mouth for one was funny, but Grace thinking she's above her and other white girls for not liking them made me eyeroll.
The show is hilarious for the most part, thankfully. It's campy and mixes pop culture and horror tropes very well.
She is the president of Kappa Kappa Tau and the leader of the Chanels clique. Chanel is known for being the most popular and meanest girl at Wallace University.

Everyone hating Grace when she is the only realistic character
A lot of people nowadays are going to root with the Evil/Mean characters rather than the good ones though, I wasn't surprised. I do think Grace is boring for a show like SQ.
Boone is part of a golfing fraternity called the Dollar Scholars at Wallace University. He is one of the most popular guys on campus, but be careful: He has a dark side.
Nice characters are never as interesting as the evil ones. It's just human nature to be drawn to more polarizing characters because they give us a sense of catharsis by living through them vicariously. Chanel represents that evil, catty side of all of us.
I love Skylar Samuels tho, it's nothing against her.
